Biographical Sketch 
I am interested in the early physiological mechanisms in the development of essential hypertension. Through a combination of laboratory based, human physiology, epidemiology and clinical trial approaches an understanding of the initial triggers for hypertension will allow effective prevention strategies and reduction in cardiovascular morbidity.
