Dr. Iskandrian has been awarded the Master of the American College of Cardiology (MACC) and Master of the American Society of Nuclear cardiology (MASNC), Gifted Teaching Award of the American College of Cardiology, the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award, The Leadership Award of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, the Mesopotamia Distinguished Award in Medicine, and numerous local, regional, national and international awards. He is a Past President of the American Society of Nuclear cardiology, Past Chair of the Certification Board of Nuclear cardiology, Past Chair of the imaging committees of the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association, Past member of the Association of University Cardiologists, and Chair of the Research Committee of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Iskandrian has been voted as one of the “Best Doctors in America” since its inception and listed amongst the Best doctors in Birmingham Al and prior to that in Phila PA, where he also held endowed Chair and was the Chair of cardiovascular research at Allegheny Health System.
