Biographical Sketch 
Dr. Robinson, Professor in the Division of Laboratory Medicine, received his Ph.D. degree in 1970 from the University of Alabama in the field of biochemistry. He was awarded an N.I.H. predoctoral fellowship training grant in 1969 and continued his work through postdoctoral training in the Department of Medicine, Division of Diabetes, UAB. Dr. Robinson joined the UAB faculty in 1972 and currently serves as Forensic Toxicologist for the Jefferson County Medical Examiners Office, consultant for the Chemistry section of Laboratory Medicine, UAB. Dr. Robinson is the author of over 75 papers and abstracts, serves as a reviewer for Analytical Toxicology, and is an invited reviewer to other pertinent journals. Research interests include drug metabolism, clinical chemistry, and clinical and forensic toxicology.
