Biographical Sketch 
Dr. Glenn E. Peters joined the UAB Department of Surgery Faculty, Division of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery in 1984. He has served as an administrator in a variety of capacities including as the Division Director and most recently as a Vice Chair for the Department of Surgery. Dr. Peters is one of ‘The Best Doctors in America’ and ‘America’s Top Doctors’. His clinical interest is in Head and neck endocrine surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery with an emphasis on minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Peters is an active researcher and widely published with numerous manuscripts, and eight book chapters. He also lectures on a national level in his specialty.
