Title
Role of Complement in Ocular Diseases
Description
My laboratory focuses on the role of the complement system and its activation in ocular disease. We are currently focusing on two areas, complement activation in experimental autoimmune uveitis, a mouse model of endogenous posterior uveitis; and complement in age related macular degeneration, the leading cause of blindness in the USA in individuals over 65.
