Mechanistic features underlying the correction of mutant cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR). Evaluation of inflammatory mediators active in cystic fibrosis airways disease. The design and conduct of clinical trials testing new therapeutic agents to treat cystic fibrosis.
