Biographical Sketch 
Having completed his Vascular Surgery fellowship at UAB in 2009, Dr. Pearce joined the UAB Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy faculty in 2013. His clinical and research interests include tibial revascularization, open thoraco-abdominal reconstruction, complex endovascular reconstruction of aortic disease involving the visceral segment, and management of iatrogenic injury. Dr. Pearce was recognized during his clinical medicine rotation as the most outstanding student in his class. During his General Surgery residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals he was awarded the Gold Foundation in Humanism award twice and was the Robert Baker Golden Apple Teaching Award winner. Dr. Pearce was honored to be the Administrative Chief Resident for his class.
