Biographical Sketch 
Dr. Borak was born in Mobile Alabama, before attending college at the University of Georgia where he received his B.S degree in biology. His medical degree was received at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Residency training in Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology and Fellowship training in Hematopathology also took place at UAB Hospital, prior to becoming a faculty member in the Pathology Department, and becoming a part of the Community Pathology Practice Program in Montgomery, Alabama.

Description
Dr. Borak is actively involved in diagnostic surgical pathology, within the Community Practice Pathology Program in Montgomery, Alabama, where he also participates in teaching at the recently establish UASOM branch campus. He is interested in extramedullary neoplasms, including blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell tumors, myeloid sarcomas, plasma cell lesions, and circulating tumor cells.
