Biographical Sketch 
Dr. Pamboukian completed her MD degree, with honors, at the University of Toronto, Canada, where she also completed an internal medicine residency. She received a cardiology fellowship at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, followed by cardiac transplantation and heart failure fellowships at Rush-Presbyterian ó St. Lukeís Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Pamboukian is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in internal medicine with a subspecialty in cardiology. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in cardiovascular medicine. Dr. Pamboukian also is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and is certified by the United Network of Organ Sharing as a heart transplant cardiologist.

Research/Clinical Interest
Dr. Pamboukianís clinical interests center on end-stage cardiomyopathy, cardiac transplantation, and mechanical circulatory support. Her current research focuses on racial and gender outcomes in heart failure and cardiac transplantation.
