Course Description The purpose of this course is to introduce the student to clinical gastroenterology. The student will become acquainted with the utilization of fiberoptic endoscopy, intestinal motility, laboratory evaluation, and consultation services, all provided in a regional hospital setting.

Requirements Attendance with the private physician.
Evaluation The student will be evaluated on a subjective basis based upon the attending physician's interview with the student and observations of the student's performance.
