Course Description
52-420 - PEDIATRIC INFECTIOUS DISEASE The purpose of this rotation is to help the student learn the approach to the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases of children. The student will be under the direct supervision of one of the Infectious Disease staff members, as well as a senior pediatric resident. The student will be involved in all consults and also will attend Infectious Disease clinics and conferences. This elective is recommended for someone interested in Pediatrics, and/or General Practice. The student will be evaluated on a subjective basis based upon the attending physician's interview with the student and observations of the student's performance.
