A magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Mount Holyoke College, Massachusetts, Dr. Romp completed her MD degree in 1995 at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. There she received the Sheard Sanford Medical Student Award and the Duke University Medical School Dean’s Recognition Award. Dr. Romp served an Internal Medicine internship and residency at UAB, where she was named Chief Medical Resident and was honored with the University of Alabama School of Medicine’s Excellence in Teaching Award.
Dr. Romp has worked in the Division of General Internal Medicine since 2002. She sees patients at The Kirklin Clinic and supervises residents in their primary care clinic. |
