| Dr. Swanner graduated summa cum laude from Samford University with a BS degree in biology and earned his MD degree at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. He completed an ophthalmology residency at UAB's Callahan Eye Foundation Hospital. After his residency, Dr. Swanner then completed a glaucoma fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Department of Ophthalmology, Harvard Medical School. |
