Course Description Demonstrates knowledge necessary to obtain an orderly history on patients suspected of having an infectious disease. Assit in perfomring a physical exam with attention to unique manifestations of infectious disease syndromes. Assist in ordering or performs diagnostic studies and interprets laboratory data. Identifies the appropriate diagnosis or diagnoses. Provides therapeutic interventions.

Evaluation At the completion of the rotation, the Attending Physician completes an End of Rotation form that is reviewed by the student. The results of this evaluation are used to give the students formative feedback regarding their clinical and educational experience. After review, it is returned to the Residency Office and placed in the student?s file.
