Requirements
1) The student will carry a workload of following a core of 1-10 patients depending on the students skill set and the complexity of the patients
2) The student will be responsible for reviewing the progress and medical information available for their patients on a daily basis and for informing the attending of the important changes and findings.
3) The student will be required to perform independent evaluations of patients and to report findings to the attending as well as presentations at morning report.
4) The student will provide guidance to lower level medical students as opportunity arises.
5) The student is expected to integrate into team function as a vital member of patient care provision.
6) The student is expected to obtain collateral information for their patients if it is not readily available.
