Course Description Students will spend one week in an immersive pediatircs experience ad the Children's of Alabama hospital. Students will coordinate with residents in the UAB/CoA Pediatrics Residency program to round on various services and out-patiend clinics to gain insignt into a career in pediatircs. Students wil spend five-half days on clinical service. Students will also spend an afternoon lunch with the course director to discuss their experience and education.

Requirements
Evaluation Pass/Fail based on:
1. Completion of pre-survey
2. Completion of post-survey
3. Attendance at all scheduled activities
Notes By the end of the week, students will:
- Be able to classify acuity in the pediatric setting from differnet hospital units.
- Be albe to assess vital signs and differentiate normal/abnormal in pediatric patients.
- Gain an understanding of different types of pediatric subspeciality training.
