Biographical Sketch 
Dr Bailey is a native Mississippian and attended Millsaps college as an undergraduate and University of MS Medical Center for his PhD in Anatomy. He attended COMP (now Western U) in Pomona California and afterwards relocated to Birmingham Alabama for internship and residency. He was in private practice for 13 years and is now Associate Professor of Neurology and Anesthesiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) where he is Director of the Department of Neurology Pain Management Program. He is certified in both Neurology and Pain from DO and MD boards. Dr Bailey is a past president of the Alabama Osteopathic Medical Association. He currently serves on the AOA Bureau of Osteopathic Education, and the AOA Council of Continuous Medical Education. He is also a member of the NBOME faculty. He participated in the development of the AOA Pain Medicine CAQ.
