Biographical Sketch 
Amy H. Warriner completed her undergraduate degree at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa and then went on to medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, where she also completed her Internal Medicine Residency. During residency, she was voted Resident of the Year and she was nominated for membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She moved to Birmingham for her Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism thereafter. During her fellowship, she began an HIV Endocrinology Clinic at the 1917 Clinic that continues to be very productive. She also became active in osteoporosis research. In 2014, Dr. Warriner became the Co-Director of the UAB Weight Loss Medicine Clinic, located at UAB Highlands.
