Research/Clinical Interest
Title
The OMICS of Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia
Description
My research interest lies in developing novel approaches for chronic lung disease of infancy / Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia. I am currently involved in understanding the systems biology of lung development and injury with particular emphasis on the role of lung vasculature, lung microbiomics and microRNA based transcriptomics. Through these ‘omic’ approaches I would like to establish global mechanisms, which controls lung development, which could help, develop therapies for neonatal lung diseases.
