Biographical Sketch 
Dr. Sherry S. Collawn, M.D. joined the faculty of the UAB Department of Surgery in 2008. She also conducts a private practice with Mountain Brook Plastic Surgery. Dr. Collawn has been consistently supported in her work as a researcher and is currently principal investigator on a pilot project entitled: “Role of Adipose-derived Stromal Cell Conditioned Media in Wound Healing”. Her clinical activities include laser procedures, skin tightening, resurfacing, fat grafting ,transplantation, and liposuction. She is a board certified member of the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
