Description
As Director of the Office of Psychiatric Clinical Research, my current research interests include adjunctive treatment for treatment resistant depression; a comparison of lithium and Seroquel for treatment of bipolar disorder; development of a diagnostic test for depression; evaluation of ketamine, l-methyfolate, and other novel compounds as treatment for depression and/or suicidal ideation; low field magnetic stimulation for treatment resistant depression; oxidative stress mechanisms in mood disorders; and exploration of biomarkers for psychiatric disorders.
