Course Description
The Clinical Radiology elective provides medical students an four-week introduction to the fundamentals of radiology, as well as exposure to the various modalities and procedures. Students will learn the role radiologic evaluation plays in patient care. The students rotate through the subspecialty areas including GI and GU, Chest, Musculoskeletal, Ultrasound, CT, Vascular and Interventional, Neuroradiology, and MRI. Experience with pediatric imaging is available. They will spend time with faculty, residents, and fellows discussing radiographic findings as well as the clinical work-up of various diseases.
