Course Description
Medical Students will be exposed to a high volume of patients with skin diseases and growths of the skin, including moles and skin cancers. They will be instructed in clinical diagnosis and treatment, and will have supervised exposure to dermatological treatments, such as surgical excision and cryotherapy. They will be introduced to dermatological tests, such as the KOH prep

Requirements
Required to attend daily clinic and UAB conferences.
Evaluation
The student will be evaluated on the basis of attendance and performance and ability to obtain a working knowledge in clinical differential diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases. All students rotating at Dr. Ginsburg's office are required to attend medical conferences designed for student education at the UAB campus. This includes Tuesday Dermatology Grand Rounds and Wednesday Pathology Clinical Correlation Conference.
