Course Description
Students are exposed to the broad field of Internal Medicine in the hospital setting. The students work on a team with faculty, residents, fourth year students and pharmacy students in direct patient care. Each student is specifically assigned up to 2 patients per call night whom they see daily and on whom they document a note in the medical record. Additionally, the students participate in morning report and have a series of didactic workshops in the major specialty areas of internal medicine.

Clinical Component - 70%. NBME Shelf Exam - 30%.
