Course Description
The Psychiatry Clerkship is a four week required clerkship during the third year of medical school. Via clinical encounters, didactic sessions, and required readings, students are exposed to the major psychiatric syndromes. Students work on a multidisciplinary team and are required to be able to employ a bio-psycho-socio-cultural model of assessment and treatment to the patient with psychiatric illness.

Evaluation
Clinical Component - 65%. NBME Shelf Exam - 35%.
