The student will observe patients prior to transplant, patients post-transplant in the clinic setting, tumor boards, and list meetings.
Where To Report Check in with Course Director
Requirements Students will write a one-page, single-spaced report on a unique patient interaction, case, or procedure observed over the course of the week. In this report, the student will also identify an opportunity to further learn about or advance the field of transplant surgery
Evaluation The final report will be submitted to Dr. Sheikh via email within 2 weeks of the course conclusion.
Feedback will occur on Friday afternoon, during which the student will receive feedback from Dr. Sheikh and students can provide feedback on learning from the week and ways to improve the course for future sessions.
