Course Description This one-week course is open only to students who participate in the international research elective for the Recognition of Distinction in Global Health (RDGH). The purpose is to debrief the RDGH research elective experience including aspects of cultural competence, research experience, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Students will work individually and in groups for elective reflection as well as analysis of data collection during the research elective. Course will be held via Zoom during the final week of each student's international research elective in order to ensure they are able to connect with their international mentors for any questions or additional information about their research.

Requirements -Students must be MS2s
-Students must participate in an international research elective
-Students must submit a poster for Student Research Day
-Students must provide written student reflection
Evaluation Students will submit research poster with abstract and self-reflection
Notes Monday: Students meet with Dr. Zayzafoon via Zoom to discuss international elective experience, discuss format for elective reflection, discuss how to create an abstract for Student Research Day poster, and discuss any additional information that may be required from international research mentors
Tuesday: Students work in groups to create the discussed materials from Monday, and meet with international research mentors regarding any additional information required
Wednesday: Students will meet with Dr. Zayzafoon via Zoom to review materials created on Tuesday, receive feedback and edits, and discuss any additional information that may be required from international research mentors
Thursday: Students will work in groups to implement any feedback and edits received on Wednesday, and meet with international research mentors regarding any additional information required
Friday: Students meet with Dr. Zazyafoon via Zoom for final review of materials and submit both the research poster and and self-refection
