Course Description This course will give students the opportunity to practice and develop POCUS scan techniques on patients in the emergency room. Students will gain understanding into the best techniques and guidelines for utilizing POCUS in a fast paced clinical setting. Student will be interpret scan result and get feedback from residents and faculty. Student will also take part in a scan review session and test they skill on interpretation with faculty guidance.
Where To Report Report at 9am to Emergency Dept General Services Building Room 203
Requirements Student are required to attend all 5 days of the course. Student will be graded on attendance, engagement, dedication to improvement, and professionalism.
Evaluation Student will receive real-time feedback on scan techniques and interpretation. At the end of the week student scans will be critiqued in a virtual scan review session and they will receive group feedback.
