Prerequisites Completion of the Cardiac module in the first year of medical school.

Visiting Students
No LCME students accepted.
No osteopathic students accepted.
Course Description The purpose of this course is to introduce students to EKGs. The experience will include the physics of EKGs and advanced methodologies of reading EKGs. The students will meet Monday through Thursday via Zoom and will have a quiz on Friday covering the information taught in class.

Requirements Students will be assessed on a pass/fail based on:
1. Attendance of mandatory Zoom sessions
2. Participation in Zoom sessions
3. Quiz covering the weeks material
Evaluation Students must pass quiz on week's materials.
Notes - Didactic sessions will take place on Zoom, 8 am - 12 pm, Monday - Friday
- Comprehensive quiz covering the weeks material will take place on Friday
- Material in didactic sessions will include Powerpoint presentations, practice with example EKGs, and review of reading from required text Dubin's Rapid Interpretation of EKG's
