Course Description
This elective is designed for students interested in ENT and will work with faculty in clinic and during procedures. Under supervision, the student may independently see patients and assist/perform ENT evaluations/procedures. Students will be able to describe gross anatomy of the head and neck, correlate gross anatomy with surgical anatomy relevant to the field of ENT, correlate gross anatomy with radiographic anatomy relevant to the field of ENT.

Requirements
Students are expected to be present for and participate directly in patient work-ups, and assigned clinics each day M-F. Outside reading is strongly encouraged. The student may be expected to prepare a short presentation at the end of their rotation to attending faculty.
Evaluation
Pass/Fail. The student will be evaluated on a subjective basis based upon the attending physician's interview with the student and observations of the student's performance.
