Learning Objectives: 1) Understand the history of medical school admissions and the emergence of holistic review. 2) Recognize the applicability of holistic review concepts to physician practice. 3) Articulate relationship between medical school admissions selection processes and desired outcomes (mission-based admissions). 4) Explain concepts of diversity in medicine and impact on health care teams and patient health. 5) Learn to mitigate unconscious bias as health care professionals.
