Course Description This introductory Neuroradiology course will provide exposure to neuroanatomy and imaging with the goal of learning basic pathophysiologic processes in the brain, head & neck and spine and their imaging appearances. The experience will be provided through rotating in various neuroradiology reading rooms, attending dedicated section conferences and multidisciplinary conferences including brain tumor boards and reading the recommended reading material. Learning Objective: a.) To learn basic neuroanatomy through imaging; b.) to understand imaging findings of common brain, neck and spine pathologies on various imaging modalities; c.) to understand indications for appropriate imaging of brain, neck & spine pathologies (e.g. appropriateness of CT vs MR); d.) to get exposure to role of imaging in multidisciplinary management of brain tumors and other neurologic disorders.

Requirements 1.) Attendance in the different neuroradiology reading rooms, as per developed schedule.
2.) Attendance of Brain Tumor Board, Head & Neck Tumor Board, Cutaneous Head and Neck Tumor Board, Interdisciplinary Neurology conference and daily/weekly morning neuroradiology conferences, when scheduled.
3.) Reading Brant & Helms, Fundamentals of Diagnostic Radiology, Section II/ch.2, 5 (Introduction to Brain Imaging and CNS Neoplasms) & other reading materials.
4.) Presentations of a case/topic presentation during one of the morning conferences.
Evaluation Pass/Fail based on satisfactory completion of provided requirements including daily attendance in reading rooms and interdisciplinary conferences, required reading and case/topic presentation.
