Course Description This course is an elective in Endocrine Surgery. The scope of practice will include thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and neuroendocrine tumors. Learning Objective: a) Understand the diagnosis/pathogenesis and treatment of the above disease processes; b) Gain skills to perform as a Surgical Intern.

Requirements Participation in clinic/outpatient clinic, the operating room, acute care surgery, patient rounding, Surgical Grand Rounds, and other teaching conferences.
Evaluation Pass/Fail; based on performance, fund of knowledge, outpatient/clinical performance, patient interviews, and perioperative care.
