Prerequisites
Eligibility: MS3 and MS4 students in good academic standing (not on probation). Please consider your schedule carefully as co-enrolled course requirements are entirely independent of your other academic responsibilities. Co-enrolled elective courses offer 2 weeks elective credit each; a student may receive a maximum of only 4 weeks elective credit from co-enrolled courses. STUDENTS ARE ALLOWED TO BE ENROLLED IN ONLY ONE CO-ENROLLED COURSE AT A TIME.

Course Description
This is a 12-week co-enrolled course; students meet once a week for 2 hours. The sessions will start with introduction to basic pharmacology. Clinical and organ-based pharmacology sessions will be taught by faculty and residents on the Huntsville Regional Medical Campus and Harrison School of Pharmacy. Learning Objectives: 1) Knowledge in basic and clinical pharmacology; 2) application of skills when going through cases; and 3) understanding adverse drug reactions.

Evaluation
The student will be evaluated on a Pass/Fail basis. Grade is determined by:
- Class participation
- Interest and engagement
- Response to questions
