Course Description
Students will complete a self-paced review of applying evidence-based medicine to pediatric practice. They will then put these EBM skills to use by developing a clinical question related to a realistic pediatric patient scenario and acquire and appraise the literature to answer their clinical questions. This is a self-directed online course with no in-person sessions. Course Director will e-mail course instructions on first day of rotation. Contact the Course Director if you do not receive this e-mail.
Requirements
-Submission of 3 clinical questions with accompanying literature searches appraisals.
-Development/submission of small group EBM activity centered around 1of the 3 clinical questions.
Evaluation
Pass/Fail. Successful completion of requirements as stated.
