Prerequisites While completion of Medicine and Surgery Clerkships would be recommended, there are no required prerequisites for this course.

Course Description Each student will learn and participate in various aspects of diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating patients with sports-related injuries. The student will see patients in a variety of settings including clinic, operating room, and physical therapy for rehabilitation. LEARNING OBJECTIVES: 1. Be able to diagnose common sports-related injuries 2. Become familiar and know treatment options for diagnosed injuries 3. Be competent in taking an orthopedic history and physical exam
Where To Report Report to Highland's Sports Medicine Clinic located on the 3rd floor of Highland's Hospital (1201 11th Ave. South).
Requirements Successful complete of MS1 and MS2 years.

1. Reading materials will be distributed regarding various treatment modalities of sports-related injuries and physical exam techniques
2. Actively participate in clinic, operating room, and rehabilitation facility
3. Be on-call twice during a four week period
