The student is expected to attend the daily conferences and organized teaching sessions. The student may assist in the operating room or view neurosurgical procedures as the circumstances indicate. The objective is to allow the student to familiarize him/herself with the more common neurological and neurosurgical disorders and to gain competence in the performance of an adequate neurological examination.
