Course Description This course is only open to students who are EAB officers. Students will learn skills for success in their work at EAB, including how to plan and execute a quality improvement project as well as essential leadership skills in conflict resolution and time management. To earn credit for the course, students must: 1) attend all classroom sessions, 2) complete the "one-on-one" with a health system expert, 3) complete the final QI project assignment. Learning objectives: By the end of the course, students will be able to 1) Write an AIM statement, 2) Describe the process of quality improvement, 3) Implement two new leadership strategies.
