Course Description Designed to give students an opportunity to learn about the breadth of Neurosurgery. Ideal for students considering a career in Neurosurgery or interested in associated careers: Neurology, Anesthesia, ENT, Orthopaedic. COURSE FORMAT: Inpatient rounds, surgical cases, outpatient clinic and teaching conferences. Students may choose an area of interest. LEARNING OBJECTIVES: 1. Experience the breadth of Neurosurgery 2. Perform a neurological evaluation
Where To Report NICU Conference Room, 8th Floor, North Pavilion, UAB Hospital.
Requirements Attendance at morning report, shadowing physicians, one night of call is optional. Students will give a presentation on a Neurosurgical topic.
