Course Description
The goal of this course is to give the student a better understanding of common orthopedic problems. The student should develop a working knowledge of orthopedic history- taking and examination and also of the application of plaster casts and treatment of fractures. The student will see patients with the attending surgeon in a private clinic and, will also make hospital rounds, see patients in the E.R., and participate in surgery.

The evaluation will be based upon the attending physician's observations of the student's performance, thought process and interest level. Students will be judged on knowledge, attitude, ability, level of documentation, communication skills, level of progression, attendance, and timeliness
