Course Description
This elective is designed to give highly motivated students an opportunity to work directly with faulty to develop a well-defined project in psychiatry. Students must apply through the contact faculty person. The student will be connected with a specific faculty member based on the students interests. The student and faculty member will design a project which will have clear goals and objectives and a specified plan for supervision and evaluation. The project plan will be reviewed by the Vice Chair for Education in the Department to ensure all elements of the plan are consistent with sound educational principles. Projects may be clinical, research, or educational in nature or may include combinations of the three areas.
