Biographical Sketch 
My graduate studies were done at the Indian Institute of Science. Bangalore India. Subsequently, I moved to UAB for my post-doctoral studies on bacterial surface proteins. Thereafter, I became a faculty member in the Center for Macromolecular Crystallography group, which later became the Center for Biophysical Sciences and Engineering. Currently, I am in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics as an Associate Professor in the School of Medicine.
