Biographical Sketch 
Jason L. Morris, MD is Associate Professor of Medicine and Associate Program Director of the Tinsley Harrison Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Morris received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. He then completed his intership, residency, and chief medical residency at UAB.

Description
Dr. Morris provides patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings at UAB and the Birmingham VA Medical Center. He has a strong interest in medical education and served as the Internal Medicine Clerkship Director from 2008-2012 before taking the role as Associate Program Director of the Tinsley Harrison Internal Medicine Residency Program. He is interested in utilizing adult learning theory to improve knowledge acquisition and retention in medical students and residents via simulation and other innovative teaching/learning methods.
