• Prevention of cardiovascular disease and reduction of cardiovascular risk factors (hypertension) in families and children through the examination of environmental factors. • Prevention of childhood obesity through examination of the interactions and the impact of environmental and cardiovascular risk factors on a child’s weight status. • Education and training for clinical research personnel.
