Biographical Sketch 
Dr. Do-Yeon Cho, M.D. joined the faculty of UAB’s Department of Surgery Division of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery in 2014. A Korean Citizen and permanent U.S. resident, Dr. Cho is multi-lingual speaking English, Korean, Japanese and German. The majority of his post-doctoral training has been in the United States at Stanford University. Dr. Cho is the 2015 recipient of the John W. Kirklin Research and Education Fellowship Award. His major research focus is on upper respiratory airway disease such as allergic rhinitis, chronic rhino-sinusitis with or without cystic fibrosis. His research and clinical practice seeks to identify the underlying pathophysiology of these diseases and to develop effective therapeutic patient modalities.
