Biographical Sketch 
Dr. Scott A. Anderson has been an Assistant Professor of Surgery for the Division of Pediatric Surgery at UAB since 2010. He came to the Department of Surgery from General Surgery Residency and Pediatric Surgery Fellowship at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Anderson specializes in surgical care for unborn children, infants, children, adolescents and young adults. His expertise involves endosurgery; using an endoscope for minimally invasive procedures.
